Wildlifeworks bring us cutting edge design and beautifully thought out clothing. Wildlifeworks only use eco-friendly fabrics and people-friendly production. These clothes are mostly made on an eco-sanctuary in Kenya and all sales will have a positive effect on wildlife conservation. This is achieved by creating jobs in eco-sanctuaries, building schools and developing benefits for local communities who share land with wildlife.
Located in an area where over poaching had damaged the natural environment, Wildlifeworks has created the 80,000 acre Rukinga Wildlife Sanctuary where elephants, cheetahs and 45 other large mammals now roam freely. They also built and operate an eco-factory next to the sanctuary, where they employ members of the local community to create their beautiful fashions. With Wildlifeworks employees can earn enough to feed their families and send their children to school without killing wild animals. The poaching has stopped & the animals are returning.
Wildlifework's aim is to create a number of self sustaining workshops around the world that are owned by the workers.
